Description

The Deye SE-F16 Max Heated LV is a high-capacity, low-voltage energy storage battery designed for residential and small commercial solar systems. LiFePO₄ cell technology, intelligent BMS, and integrated thermal management ensure stable and reliable energy storage, while the system offers high energy density and long service life.

16 kWh energy storage for larger residential systems

The SE-F16 Max battery has a nominal capacity of 16 kWh, a nominal voltage of 51.2 V and a capacity of 314 Ah. This high energy storage capacity makes it an ideal choice for larger family homes, multi-user residential properties or smaller commercial systems.

Solar energy generated during the day can be stored in the battery and used in the evening or at night, significantly increasing the self-consumption of the solar system and reducing grid energy consumption.

Connecting parallel batteries – Victron Energy Lynx Power In busbar (M10)

If at least two low-voltage batteries are installed in parallel, appropriate DC distribution and connection is required. The Victron Energy Lynx Power In busbar (M10) allows for the safe parallel connection of multiple batteries and provides a stable and organized DC distribution point for the entire energy storage system.

What is the difference between the SE-F16-C and the SE-F16 Max?

The SE-F16 Max is an improved version of the previous SE-F16-C model. One of the most important differences is the IP65-rated design, which allows the battery to be safely installed outdoors while providing better protection against dust and moisture.

The Max series also features advanced thermal management and an optional heating function, which ensures stable operation even at low outside temperatures. This is particularly important for installations where the battery is operated in a garage, outdoors, or in a room that is not fully temperature-controlled.

LiFePO₄ technology and intelligent BMS protection

The SE-F16 Max uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells, which provide stable operation and a high level of safety in energy storage systems. The technology is resistant to overheating, offers a long cycle life, and performs well under frequent charge-discharge cycles.

The built-in intelligent BMS continuously monitors battery performance, including voltage, current, and temperature. This protects the battery from overcurrent, overcharge, and overheating while optimizing charging and discharging processes.

Heatable battery – stable operation in cold environments

One of the biggest advantages of the SE-F16 Max is its integrated heating option, which ensures stable operation even in low-temperature environments. The system is able to maintain the optimal battery temperature, so charging and discharging remain reliable even in cold weather conditions.

This is particularly advantageous for installations where the energy storage system is located outdoors or in an unheated room.

Modular expandability and flexible installation

The SE-F16 Max supports the parallel connection of up to 32 battery units, making it easy to expand the system for greater energy storage capacity. This allows the system to adapt to growing energy demands in the future.

The battery can be installed in a wall-mounted or floor-standing design, providing flexible installation options in a variety of residential environments.

Smart monitoring and communication

The system supports the Deye Cloud platform, which allows remote monitoring and control of the energy storage and inverter. The Bluetooth-based mobile app allows you to check the battery's operation and status on site.

CAN and RS485 communication ensures compatibility with inverters and energy management systems, making the system easy to integrate into existing solar systems.
