Description

The Deye SE-F12 Max Heated LV is a modern, low-voltage energy storage battery designed for residential and small-scale commercial solar power systems. LiFePO₄ cell technology, intelligent BMS monitoring, and integrated thermal management ensure stable operation even in extreme environments, while offering high energy density and a long service life.
11.8 kWh energy storage for residential solar systems

The SE-F12 Max battery has a nominal energy storage capacity of 11.8 kWh at a nominal voltage of 51.2 V. The system can provide up to 11.8 kW of maximum output power, making it an ideal choice for supporting the energy supply of single-family homes or small commercial systems.

Solar energy generated during the day can be stored in the battery and later used during evening consumption periods or in the event of grid outages, thereby significantly increasing the proportion of self-consumption.
Connecting parallel batteries – Victron Energy Lynx Power In busbar (M10)

If at least two low-voltage batteries are installed in parallel, proper DC distribution and busbar connection are required. The Victron Energy Lynx Power In busbar (M10) enables the safe parallel connection of multiple batteries and provides a stable and organized DC distribution point for the entire energy storage system.
What is the difference between the SE-F12-C and the SE-F12 Max?

The SE-F12 Max model is an enhanced version of the SE-F12-C battery in several respects. One of the most important differences is the advanced thermal management system and the heated design, which enables stable operation even at low temperatures.

In addition, the Max series features an IP65-rated housing, which provides better protection against dust and moisture, making it suitable for outdoor installation. The Max version is typically available with more advanced monitoring and display options, ensuring easier system management.
LiFePO₄ technology and intelligent BMS protection

The SE-F12 Max battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells, which provide outstanding safety and stable operation in energy storage applications. The integrated smart BMS protects the battery against overcurrent, overcharging, overheating, and other electrical faults with active safeguards.

The system is capable of over 6,000 charge and discharge cycles under optimal operating conditions, making it a reliable long-term energy storage solution.
Heated battery – reliable operation in cold environments

One of the SE-F12 Max’s key advantages is its integrated heating capability, which allows the battery to operate even in cold environments. The system can maintain the charging temperature even at low outdoor temperatures, ensuring the entire energy storage system operates stably in winter conditions.

This is particularly useful for outdoor installations, in garages, industrial spaces, or locations where the battery is not in a fully temperature-controlled environment.
Modular scalability and flexible installation

The SE-F12 Max operates as a modular system and supports the parallel connection of up to 32 battery units. This allows for the gradual expansion of the system to meet growing energy demands.

The battery can be installed in a wall-mounted or floor-standing configuration, making it easy to integrate into various residential installation environments.
Smart Monitoring and Communication

The system supports the Deye Cloud platform, which enables remote monitoring and control of the energy storage unit and the inverter. Using the Bluetooth-based mobile app, battery operation can be monitored on-site, and firmware updates can also be performed.

CAN and RS485 communication ensure compatibility with inverters and energy management systems.

The Deye SE-F12 Max Heated LV battery is a more advanced and robust solution for those building residential energy storage systems.
