Omschrijving

Een Triax TDcH SNMP-licentie is een softwarelicentie voor systemen uit de Triax TDcH-serie die de SNMP-functionaliteit activeert. Hiermee kan het apparaat via netwerkbeheersoftware worden gemonitord en beheerd, waardoor centrale controle van status, prestaties en meldingen mogelijk is.

De licentie houdt in:

  • Activering van de SNMP-agent op het TDcH-apparaat
  • Ondersteuning voor SNMP v1/v2c, afhankelijk van model en firmware
  • Mogelijkheid om statussen, signaalwaarden, temperatuur en foutmeldingen uit te lezen
  • Integratie met netwerkbeheertools zoals PRTG, Nagios of andere SNMP-platforms
  • Centraal beheer van meerdere TDcH-units tegelijk

De voordelen zijn onder andere beter overzicht bij grote installaties, automatische alarmmeldingen bij afwijkingen en vermindering van handmatig onderhoud. De licentie is meestal model- en serienummer-specifiek en wordt geactiveerd via het configuratiemenu van het TDcH-systeem. Zonder deze licentie blijft SNMP-functionaliteit uitgeschakeld en is alleen lokaal of webgebaseerd beheer mogelijk.
