SMA EV CHARGER 22 kW

The SMA EV Charger 22 is an AC charging station for PV-optimised charging of electric vehicles in conjunction with the Sunny Home Manager 2.0. The charging power can be configured from 1.3 to 22 kW; automatic switching between single-phase and three-phase operation ensures that solar power is used efficiently even at low PV outputs. The boost function enables single-phase charging with up to 7.4 kW by combining grid and solar power. Blackout protection and integrated DC fault current monitoring (6 mA) ensure safe operation. An integrated MID-compliant energy meter enables transparent consumption recording. Monitoring is carried out via SMA Smart Connected in the SMA Sunny Portal, while control and visualisation are handled by the SMA Energy App. Thanks to its permanently connected Type 2 charging cable, the charging station is compatible with common electric vehicles.
