Een stand-alone toegangscontroleapparaat is een combinatie van een controller en een lezer in één apparaat: kan gebruikers identificeren, beslissen of ze al dan niet toegang hebben tot de installatie en het elektronische slot via zijn relais bedienen. Hybride terminals combineren toegangscontrole en tijd- en aanwezigheidscontrole en kunnen ook tijd- en aanwezigheidscontrole van werknemers uitvoeren op het moment dat ze zich identificeren.
Deze apparatuur maakt identificatie mogelijk via kaarten of sleutelhangers met MF-technologie van 13.56 MHz, maar ook via toetsenborden voor numerieke codes en biometrie met gezichts- en handpalmherkenning.
Het 8" aanraakscherm maakt het eenvoudig om het apparaat lokaal te bedienen en te configureren, zowel om het autonoom te gebruiken zonder software, als om enkele parameters in te stellen die nodig zijn om verbinding te maken met de software, zoals netwerkconfiguratie.
Dankzij de buitenklasse IP68 kan deze buiten worden geïnstalleerd. Daarnaast is de IK04 anti-vandalisme classificatie bestand tegen meer uitdagende omgevingen.
De ZKBioCV Security software wordt gebruikt om gebruikers, tijden en toegangsgroepen te configureren, evenals speciale functies, openingstijden van relais of leestijden van lezers.
