De SMA Sunny Island-opslagomvormer blijft in een eigen klasse. De standaard enkelfasige powerhouses met vermogensklassen van 3.3 tot 6.0 * kW kunnen ook worden aangesloten als een drievoudige eenheid voor driefasen gebruik. Ze kunnen zowel parallel met het raster als als een echt off-grid-systeem worden gebruikt. Hoge overbelastingscapaciteit, een breed temperatuurbereik, echte driefasige stroom en generatorverbinding zijn slechts enkele van zijn vele sterke punten. Snelle en eenvoudige inbedrijfstelling dankzij lokale Wi-Fi. Compatibel met tal van fabrikanten van opslagsystemen met laag voltage.
