Omschrijving

Een OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) is een computer waarop een besturingssysteem kan worden geïnstalleerd (in sommige gevallen al voorgeïnstalleerd) om verbinding te maken met een interactieve monitor. Hierdoor functioneert het beeldscherm als een pc en biedt het een soortgelijke ervaring als een conventionele computer, maar met het voordeel van aanraakinteractie en volledige integratie doordat het in een sleuf aan de achterkant van de monitor past.

Daarnaast heeft de OPS verschillende ingangspoorten, zoals USB, die het aansluiten van randapparatuur vergemakkelijken en de gebruikerservaring verbeteren in verschillende toepassingen, zoals videoconferenties.
