Omschrijving

Cloudgebaseerde contentmanagementsystemen (CMS) stellen gebruikers in staat om het uploaden van content op afstand te regelen, vanaf elke plek met een internetverbinding. Afhankelijk van het gebruikte CMS is het mogelijk om onder andere afbeeldingen, video's en webinhoud te uploaden en zelfs visuele elementen te ontwerpen. Bovendien kan deze inhoud worden gepland voor uitzending op verschillende tijdschema's en, in sommige gevallen, controle mogelijk maken over bepaalde monitorparameters, zoals schermoriëntatie, volume of ingangsbron.

CMS'en worden veel gebruikt in omgevingen waar digital signage displays worden beheerd en een complete en eenvoudige oplossing voor hun administratie wordt gezocht. Ze komen vaak voor in winkels, luchthavens, bedrijven en andere ruimtes waar visuele communicatie belangrijk is.
